Think Tank with Wendy, Pat & Sunny: Three Wise Women Join us Wednesday June 4 at 1:00pm EST to hear Three Wise Women, legends and stars in the Imago community discuss their upcoming Advanced Supervision Pilot Training in Atlanta, GA.
With the introduction of the new Imago Consultants, other Advanced Imago courses are getting a bit of a face lift. This 20-hour Advanced Supervision and Consultation Course on July 24-26, 2008 in Atlanta, GA will be the first pilot of the revitalized Advanced Supervision and Consultation Course which will ultimately become a pre-requisite to become an Advanced Clinician and will be recommended to become an Imago Consultant. This course is recommended for all Imago Therapists, especially if you are;
-interested in taking your work to the next level
-ready to hear what the “pros” have to say about your work
-eager to gain insight from three dynamic perspectives on Imago Supervision
-wanting to deepen your Imago Theory skills
Even if you will be unable to attend the July training itself, listen in to hear more about the new training requirements and this wonderful opportunity of collaboration between Pat Love, Sunny Shulkin, and Wendy Palmer Patterson. Link: http://www.box.net/shared/nqbdzhmo08 |

Bruce Crapuchettes, Ph.D. Workshop Presenter Training - for both Getting and Keeping I am starting the "Getting" training in July and the "Keeping" training in August (see our website for dates: www.pasadenainstitute.com). This is a wonderful training for presenters to take along with their partners. You'll never get better couples therapy than doing this together. Also, this is the best builder of a practice that you can find. Couples are referred to the workshop from the national website. You deepen your own understanding of Imago and develop a gold mine at the same time. Link: http://www.box.net/shared/xxjimmlssw |

Imago Virtual Town Hall- Therapy & Workshops Join the Imago Board for this dialogue on a key issue relating to the programs we offer. Does attending the "Getting the Love You Want" workshops make a dramatic impact to their progress in therapy? If so, how do we encourage therapy clients to sign-up? How do we handle concerns about losing revenue? IRI has conducted extensive surveys of the community to collect a wide range of perpectives which we can review together with the Board during this call. Link: http://www.box.net/shared/5iy2d8g4ks |

For those of you who are new to TeleForums:
- Pick up your telephone and dial the telephone number at the appropriate time.
- After one ring, you will be automatically connected to the conference call. No operators, no waiting; it's fully automatic and immediate.
- After one hour, the call will end and everyone will hang up.
There are no special telephone company conference call charges. Your call to the 646 number will just be a regular long distance call ($4-$9 for the hour), as if you were calling a friend in Florida.
Using an automated teleconferencing bridge may be a new experience for some people. We've found the following instructions and tips work well.
HOW TO CALL INTO THE BRIDGE
- Put your dogs and kids in another room.
- Pick up your phone.
- If you have call-waiting, please disable it first by dialing 1170 and waiting for the dial tone (or by dialing *70 and waiting for dial tone).
- Please don't call the bridge number you've been given at any other time than during your scheduled time. There is no one "there" at the bridge number.
- The system is totally automatic -- there is no Operator.
- If you have a question for the host, please say your name first before you ask your question. Please let the host manage the call. You'll see how easily it works!
TIPS FOR CALLERS
- Do not use Speaker Phones. If you use a Portable Phone, be aware they can introduce static as you walk around!
- If you have a two-line phone or other phones in your room/office, TURN OFF all ringers before calling in.
- Don't breathe into the mouthpiece. It's comical, but disruptive.
- On your phone bill, you will see just regular, long distance charges. There are NO other charges, hidden or otherwise. Ed paid a rental fee to cover the use of the bridge. We don't make money on your long distance.
- Most long distance carriers charge between $4 and $9 per hour for long distance calls so check with them.
- The reason I mention #4 and #5 above is that most teleconferencing companies charge a per minute access rate per caller. We don't do this. Ed paid a rental fee per hour for full use of the bridge. This keeps it very simple (and inexpensive) for everyone.
- Ideally, get a headset for your phone with a mute button.
REMEMBER:
- Take the call in a quiet place.
- Do not put the call on hold.
- No car phones.
- No dogs, cats ok.
- No babies.
- No paper shuffling.
- No washing dishes.
- No interruptions.
- No typing.
- Please treat this call as an appointment.
